Team sailing is an excellent option for a team building day. Participants will step aboard the spacious sailing catamaran Aristocat and be hands-on in a fun, relaxed and interactive environment. Participants will have their communication and leadership skills put to the test and walk away at day’s end with new skills gained (and some impressive nautical terms!).
Groups are divided into teams of 2-3 and given rotating shifts navigating Aristocat safely around the Moreton Bay islands. The crew will be working together to study charts, identify navigation marks, avoid shallow waters, steer the yacht and set the sails in variable breezes. All team members are encouraged to participate and switch positions.
The full day charter allow us time to anchor for lunch, a swim and beach cricket/volleyball in a sheltered bay (Peel Island, Bird Island or North Stradbroke).
Aristocat is a large and stable yacht and we operate in protected waters. Therefore, this event is safe and suitable for people of all ages and abilities.
Our team building days are for groups between 6 – 30 sailors (for groups between 31 and 40 passengers we have access to another sailing yacht).
Team Building Charter Options:
3 hour: Includes unique team building event, certified skipper & deckhand, bottled water/juice.
Price: $120 (minimum cost is for 12 people).
4 hour: Includes unique team building event, certified skipper & deckhand, seasonal fresh fruit, gourmet cheese platters, bottled water/juice.
Price: $140/person (minimum cost is for 12 people)
Full day (7 hour): Includes unique team building event, certified skipper & deckhand, catered lunch including king prawns/roast chicken/leg ham/freshly prepared salads/bread rolls. Morning and afternoon tea includes seasonal fresh fruit, gourmet cheese platters, bottled water/juice.
Price: $220/person (minimum cost is for 12 people)
